Young People Parents Intervention Project

We were delighted to be successful in obtaining a grant from the National Lottery to deliver the Young People Parents Intervention Project. It started in April 2023 and will continue for three years. The project offers holistic support to young people by reaching out to their parents, carers and guardians and to communities with services, solutions and actions that will improve their life chances, taking into account the disadvantages that they may face.

We offer 1-1 and group guidance, training, mentoring, and other support to improve their skills, engagement, connections and assessing opportunities.

We provide safer spaces, computer rooms, loan equipment, digital skills, internet data, mobile phone credit, knowledge, and access to virtual and physical spaces to connect and engage.

Our training programmes support young people to address inequalities and barriers hindering them from accessing opportunities and achieving their full potential. Drawing on our over 40 years expertise of supporting young people from BAME communities, we consistently update our courses to meet the needs of the changing work environment.
