We are seeking a results-driven Executive Director of Sales & Business Development to accelerate revenue growth and expand strategic relationships. This role offers significant autonomy, direct exposure to executive decision-makers, and uncapped earning potential for a proven sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.

About the Role

The Executive Director of Sales & Business Development will own enterprise-level revenue growth and strategic account expansion. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex buying decisions and consistently closing high-value deals. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, disciplined execution, and the ability to lead through influence and example.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and continuously refine a scalable sales strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets. • Identify, build, and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. • Engage directly with decision-makers through in-person meetings and on-site visits to drive deal closure. • Act as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer operations, challenges, and financial objectives. • Deliver concise, data-driven presentations that clearly articulate economic and environmental ROI. • Challenge existing facility and energy management practices with customized, high-impact solutions. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure alignment and execution. • Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture grounded in accountability and shared success. • Provide Operations with clearly defined scopes of work and well-prepared customers to ensure seamless delivery. • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal data to identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior-level sales leadership experience with a consistent record of exceeding revenue targets. • Proven success selling complex solutions in high-growth or private equity–backed environments. • Experience closing enterprise-level deals with C-suite executives.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and set high standards for top-performing teams.

• Full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through close, with a strong sense of accountability. • Highly detail-oriented, disciplined, and prepared; understands trust is built in execution.

• Ability to remain calm, confident, and decisive under pressure.

• Servant leadership mindset with a willingness to lead from the front.

• Unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Travel & Work Environment

Willingness to travel as required to achieve revenue objectives. Work location is negotiable. 

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus tied directly to sales results. Expected total compensation range: $150,000 – $500,000.
