Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Contract / Travel

Duration: 9 Weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,100/week
• Travel: $2,500/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking  Ultrasound Technologist  for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and properly position patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Upload images to PACS and physician workstations accurately and efficiently.
• Assist Radiologists during procedures as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and ensure readiness of all ultrasound equipment and supplies.
• Support patient scheduling, transport coordination, and front-desk tasks as needed.
• Mentor and onboard new ultrasound team members.
• Perform all duties in accordance with facility policies, quality standards, and patient-care values.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• ARRT certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience.
• Proficient with PACS and clinical software systems.
• Strong communication, patient-care, and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to problem-solve while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
