A Day on the Job
- Review construction drawings and plans to understand layout and specifications.
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stone exactly to blueprint requirements.
- Mix and apply mortar, setting units plumb, level, and aligned for an attractive finish.
- Complete each task with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Coordinate smoothly with other trades and on-site supervisors to keep work moving.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
