Pay Range: $21.70 - $26.50 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Performs procurement activities for OR services in a cost-effective manner with a priority emphasis on effective inventory management. Serves as primary contact for vendors with regard to vendor performance, issue resolution and standardization. Ensure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

Provides materials support to department and clinical areas with emphasis non-stock and specialty supplies. Assists material manager in all activities associated with purchasing, receiving, bill only, and delivery of non-stock supplies to end user. Performs additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years Materials Management experience required
• Three to five years purchasing, data collection and reporting experience required
• Computer, printer, copier, fax machine, MIS terminal
• Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written).

Preferred:

• BA/BS degree preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• 40 hours/week
