Full Stack SW Developer (AWS)
Elite Technical is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with hands-on AWS Cloud experience. The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment. Designs, develops/codes, tests, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. Works with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems. The selected candidate will also participate in our client's AWS Transformational efforts leveraging EKS, Kubernetes.
This position is a hybrid opportunity (onsite for PI Planning and random project meetings in Reston VA) and is Contract to FTE opportunity!
Required Skills
- BS Degree with 6 years of Software Development experience (if no degree, seeking 10 years of total SW Development experience)
- AWS Developer related certification is HIGHLY PREFERRED
- AWS EKS and S3 is required. Aurora, Kubernetes, or other services is preferred. General understanding of AWS API Gateway is preferred
- Must have experience with Java 21, Angular 18, Spring Boot Framework, MicroServices, and PostGreSQL
- Mongo DB or DB2 is preferred.
- Must have Java development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
- Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
- Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Must have strong experience in continuous integration within DevOps environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
- Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.
- Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.
