The YMCA of Central Texas is looking for an energetic, dependable, and people-focused individual to serve as a Front Desk Representative in our Licensed Childcare department. This is a key front-line position responsible for welcoming families, managing program registrations, and helping our administrative team deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

You'll be the first face families see—offering friendly support, accurate information, and efficient help with childcare and camp-related needs. If you're organized, great with people, and love creating positive experiences, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Greet members, guests, and families with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and return messages in a timely manner
• Support registrations, payments, bank drafts, and data entry for all Licensed Childcare and Camp Programs
• Assist with summer camp and afterschool program forms, rosters, and clerical support
• Run collection reports, update payment info, and help maintain accurate accounts
• Provide general administrative support to the Child Development Center (CDC) team

This position is likely to open or close the front desk daily , so flexibility and reliability are a must!

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multi-task, handle money, and stay organized under pressure
• Computer-literate and comfortable with phone/email communication
• Willing to work a variety of shifts, including early morning or evening hours
• Bilingual a plus

• Must pass reference checks, drug screening, background check, and sex offender check

Pay & Benefits:

• Part-time hours: Up to 30 per week, scheduled within operational hours

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks.

Pay Rate: $13.00 to $17.00/hour based on experience
