Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be adept at operating CNC machinery to produce precision components. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of finished products.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.
Select appropriate tooling and hand tools for each machining task.
Monitor production processes for quality control, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks for design modifications and improvements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
History of running HAAS VF3/ VF2 and a SL20 Lathe
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of tooling, machining techniques, and operation of milling machines.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
