Farber Hebrew Day School, located in Southfield Michigan, is seeking an administrative assistant . . Major job responsibilities include , working directly with administrators and teachers to fulfill their administrative needs (typing, scheduling meetings, filing, answering phones, distribution of school communication, etc.), assisting students, communicating with parents, inputting data, creating reports, and monitoring and entering attendance information using the School Management System.
The ideal candidate should be warm and friendly, have strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, have the ability to prioritize workload, be detail oriented, and have familiarity with Google Suite, MS Word and Excel. Graphic design skills and experience working in a schoo l or with children is a plus.
This is a full time, 12 month position, with flexible time over the summer, and Jewish holidays off during the school year.
