2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Myakka City, Florida is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The 2nd Assistant Superintendent position will assist in the execution of the daily activities on the golf course and property. This is a hands-on salaried position and will be responsible for carrying out the Club’s annual agronomic program.
Responsibilities will include irrigation system maintenance and repairs, fertilizer and chemical applications, daily communication with the Golf Course Superintendent to assist with staff training, oversight, and review of the work scheduled on the course, and assistance with executing/supervising construction projects and maintenance activities.
Candidate must be a team player and have aspirations of a career in golf course maintenance.
Requirements
B.S.A. in Agronomy or Turfgrass Management preferred.
2-3 years of golf course maintenance experience preferred.
Compensation
$45,000 to $55,000 per year.
