Job Summary We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with at least 1.5-2 years of professional experience to join our passionate team. You will play a key role in crafting engaging, high-quality video content for our social media channels, digital ads, product storytelling, and brand campaigns. Ideal candidates are visual storytellers with a strong sense of design, a love for pets, and a knack for creating viral-worthy content. Key Responsibilities ● Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos aligned with our brand identity. ● Create short-form as well as long-form content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. ● Create organic and paid content for ads, podcast series, brand promotions, offline events, and the like. ● Add music, voiceovers, subtitles, graphics, and effects to enhance visual storytelling. ● Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project goals and deliver videos on time. ● Stay up-to-date with video trends and best practices for audience engagement. ● Maintain organized file management and version control. ● Contribute to ideation and concept development for upcoming campaigns and video series. The Role Entails ● Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and video editing techniques. ● Collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute impactful campaigns aligned with branding objectives. ● Using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc., to produce visually appealing videos. ● Incorporating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to retain viewer attention. ● Having a sharp eye for design aesthetics, color grading, and visual storytelling. ● Proactively bringing fresh content ideas to the table. ● Developing concepts from ideation through to final execution. ● Conducting competitive analysis and creating trend-based content. ● Monitoring digital ads and brand videos for feedback and engagement insights; making recommendations for improvement. ● Managing and organizing media assets and project files efficiently. ● Handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Requirements ● 1.5+ years of professional experience in video editing. ● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar editing tools. ● Strong storytelling ability and familiarity with social media content formats. ● A portfolio that demonstrates a range of editing styles and creativity. ● Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus. ● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. ● Passion for animals and lifestyle branding. Nice to Have ● Experience in pet care, lifestyle, or D2C brand storytelling. ● Basic photography or colour grading skills. ● Understanding of YouTube SEO and content optimisation.
