Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) II, the SSM I (Specialist) in the Firearms Information Technology Systems Modernization (FITSM) Unit will serve as the Bureau of Firearms Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager. The SSM I (Specialist) will work with other FITSM project staff (including OCM consultants) to plan, lead, manage, coordinate, and oversee OCM activities in alignment with the FITSM project goals.
The SSM I (Specialist) will prioritize and resolve business priorities related to the Project and monitor business activities to ensure approved objectives and benefits are realized. This SSM I (Specialist) will be responsible for engaging with internal and external partners and performing project tasks to support the overall project. This SSM I (Specialist) will also participate in all communication and engagements with the project team, contracted staff, internal BOF staff, the Application Development Bureau (ADB), executive management, and the external user community.
The SSM I (Specialist) should have strong analytical and project management skills, knowledge of the program's needs (in regard to OCM activities), strong verbal and written communication skills, work well under pressure, and perform multiple tasks with accuracy, precision, and neatness.
This is a Limited Term position which may be extended up to 24 months.
