Job Description

What You Bring

Required:

• 2+ years in event production, planning, project management, or community engagement
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities
• Cultural competency and genuine passion for working with youth and families
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced, shared environment

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
• Experience with SharePoint or event management software
• Background in nonprofit or youth-serving organizations
• Knowledge of Chicago's South Side communities
