Salon Manager – Pigtails & Crewcuts Fayetteville

Position Overview

The Salon Manager is responsible for leading the Pigtails & Crewcuts team to deliver an exceptional experience for every child and family who visit our salon. This position combines leadership, operational management, and team development to ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding customer service, and a positive, family-friendly environment. The Salon Manager serves as the bridge between our General Manager, franchise owner and the salon team, ensuring all business goals and brand standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

·       Lead, motivate, and develop a team of stylists, front desk staff, and assistant managers to deliver excellent customer service.

·       Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members in alignment with Pigtails & Crewcuts standards.

·       Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes professionalism, communication, and fun.

·       Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

·       Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support employee growth and retention.

·       Delegate responsibilities effectively to build leadership skills among assistant managers and senior stylists.

·       Address performance concerns in a timely and constructive manner, following company guidelines.

·       Promote company culture and employee engagement through recognition, celebrations, and team-building activities.”

Customer Experience

·       Ensure every guest enjoys a warm, friendly, and efficient salon experience.

·       Resolve customer concerns promptly and with empathy, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

·       Promote the Pigtails & Crewcuts brand by maintaining a cheerful, clean, and welcoming environment.

·       Monitor service quality and consistency across all staff members.

·       Monitor and respond to online reviews or customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.

Operational Excellence

·       Oversee all aspects of daily salon operations, including scheduling, appointments, and staffing levels.

·       Manage inventory control for retail and back-bar products, placing orders as needed.

·       Handle cash management, daily sales reports, deposits, and financial reconciliation.

·       Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

·       Monitor salon maintenance and appearance, coordinating repairs or updates as necessary.

·       Support and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain operational consistency.

 Qualifications

·       3+ years of salon, spa, or retail management experience required.

·       Valid Arkansas cosmetology license 

·       Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

·       Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and build morale.

·       Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

·       Proficiency in scheduling, POS, and social media management systems.

·       Positive, energetic, and professional attitude with a passion for creating a fun, family-friendly experience.

Schedule & Compensation

·       Full-time position with flexible hours, including weekends.

·       Competitive base pay plus performance-based raises/bonuses. Hourly compensation does not include amazing tips!

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
