Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination and documentation of safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities.
  • Help manage and organize safety records, inspection reports, and training documentation.
  • Conduct basic walkthroughs of warehouse and assembly areas to observe safe work practices.
  • Document and report any identified safety concerns or near misses to the Safety Manager.
  • Assist in follow-up on open safety corrective actions.
  • Help coordinate and track completion of safety training and refreshers.
  • Post safety-related signage and communication materials around the facility.
  • Assist with new hire safety orientations and facility tours as needed.
  • Support incident documentation and help gather information for investigations.
  • Help maintain internal safety metrics.
  • Support preparation for audits, including documentation gathering and review.
  • File SDSs and assist with chemical inventory checks.

Skills:

  • OSHA, Safety

Education/Experience:

  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
  • Strong Computer Knowledge. Must be able to work with applications and a PC without guidance.
  • Experience in an assembly environment safety. (Ergonomics Considerations, etc.)
  • Able to confidently and comfortably speak in front of small teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees at all levels
