Senior Helpers, a national home care company is seeking a full time Instructor for PCATP/HHATP with a great attitude and a heart for seniors. Our Central Long Island office is located in Hicksville where we are looking to add a valuable member of our team. We are looking for a caring and responsible individual to oversee the training of our caregivers. Ideal candidate is: Able to work as a team member Able to maintain confidential information Able to multi-task and operate independently Candidate has excellent verbal and communication skills Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NYS HHA & PCA training requirements
• Teach classes and provide supervision of trainees during clinical training
• Administer certifications for the HHA/PCA on the New York State registry
• Conducts pre/post-employment skills and assessment activities
• Perform competency evaluations of caregivers

Qualifications

• Good organization and able to communication with students at all levels
• Self-motivation, assertiveness and independent decision-making skills are essential
• Home care: 2 years (Required)
• NYS RN License (Required)
