Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022
Duration: Long-Term (4+ Years)
We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This position involves a range of clinical and administrative duties essential to dental office operations, with opportunities for continued professional growth.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms according to prescribed procedures and protocols.
Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients for treatment.
Provide chairside assistance including sterilizing, delivering, and passing instruments, suctioning, and positioning tools.
Mix and place dental materials as required.
Take and develop radiographs; pour, trim, and polish study casts.
Fabricate temporary restorations and clean/polish removable appliances.
Assist in managing dental/medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Follow infection-control policies and safety standards.
Use dental resources efficiently while ensuring quality outcomes.
Stay updated on dental practices through workshops, publications, and professional development.
Support team objectives and perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and safety protocols.
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant training program.
Licensed Dental Assistant.
Valid X-ray license.
BLS certification.
Coronal Polishing certification.
Nitrous Oxide certification.
