**Travel Pipe Welder Position with Per Diem** **Pay: $50/hr** **Per Diem: $140** **Work located in Newport News, VA** **Job Description** + Five years of commercial/naval experience as a first-class Pipe Welder. + Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet, and butt welds using the SMAW process. + Fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW processes. + Mirror weld using SMAW and GTAW processes. + Work in physically demanding environments, including shipboard settings, sub-assemblies, and staging areas. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
