🔍 Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine PA to join a dynamic and collaborative Emergency Department team at a reputable community hospital in Massachusetts. This is a locum tenens opportunity starting in June . If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously with confidence—this is for you!

🏥 ED & Facility Details:

• 🛏️ Total Beds: 44
• ⚡ Fast Track: Yes – Staffed by APPs (handles ~40% of volume)
• 🚑 Admit Rate from ED: 15%
• 🔁 Transfers: 1–2 patients/day max
• 🏨 Trauma Level: None (Community Hospital)
• 📈 Referral/Transfer Hub: Regional center (STF)
• 🧾 EMR: Epic

👩‍⚕️ ED Staffing:

• 👨‍⚕️ 11 ED Physicians in the group
• 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ 2 Physicians Always on Shift
• 💪 APPs work autonomously (supervising MD always present)

✅ Requirements:

• 🧑‍⚕️ Board-Certified PA ( No new grads ) – REQUIRED
• 🪪 Active MA License – REQUIRED
• 🫀 ACLS/BLS Certifications – REQUIRED
