The Pharmacist Resident at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network in Beverly Hills, California is designed to provide the resident with one year of advanced ambulatory care practice experience. The program will provide training in ambulatory pharmaceutical care, primary care, and managed care. The resident will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants) to perform medication therapy management, patient education, disease-specific physical assessments, monitoring and follow up, provide treatment recommendations to other healthcare providers, and respond to drug information requests. **Qualifications** **Educational Requirements:** + Resident is in the process of completing their PharmD and will obtain PharmD degree prior to start date. **Licenses/Certifications:** + Current California Pharmacist Intern license is required and Pharmacist license required within 120 days of start of residency year. + American Heart Association (AHA) or approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification **Physical Demands:** + The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
