Salary: $17.75/Hour

Daily Hours: 7.5 (7 Paid)
Work Year: 39 Weeks
Supervisor: Director of School Safety and Security
Civil Service Title: School Aide
Minimum Requirements:
There are no education or experience qualifications for this position.

Communicate in a proactive and positive manner with students, staff and visitors;
Build student relationships and a sense of community;
Flexibility in thinking and acting; pitch in when and where needed, so as to ensure a safe and productive day for all students.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Assisting with the safety screening process during student arrival in mornings as well as during school day;
Escorting students as directed by supervisor;
Monitoring hallways, bathrooms, cafeteria, and other areas as directed by supervisor;
Assisting with morning and afternoon bus arrivals and departures as directed by supervisor;
All other non-instructional support needed by administration or supervisor;
Thorough observation skills and ability to report concerns or code of conduct violations to security supervisors;
All other duties as assigned.
