Job Description

Medication Access Pharmacist
Help patients overcome the cost barrier—become their healthcare advocate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage prior authorizations and appeal processes.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, providers, and support staff.
  • Enroll patients in manufacturer copay and patient assistance programs.
  • Provide education on affordable medication options and therapeutic alternatives.
Qualifications:
  • Active pharmacist license and experience with payer systems.
  • Experience in specialty or managed care pharmacy is a plus.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
