Marketing Intern – Paid Internship

Location: Mount Peter | Warwick, NY

Compensation: $20-$25/hour

Employment Type: Paid Internship (4-6 months, potential for full-time employment)

About Us: Mount Peter is the oldest continuously operating ski area in New York State and one of the few remaining family-run ski resorts in America. Established in 1936, we’re known for our free beginner ski and snowboard school, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to making winter sports accessible to all. With 13 trails, a tubing hill, terrain park, and cozy lodges, Mount Peter is both a winter playground and a community hub.

About the Role: We are hiring a Marketing Intern for a paid internship starting immediately. This is a 4-6 month position with the potential to transition into a full-time marketing role . You’ll gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, campaign planning, content creation, and brand promotion. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to launch a marketing career.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and audience insights
• Help create marketing materials (presentations, flyers, email campaigns, website content)
• Support event marketing and promotional activities
• Track and report on marketing campaign performance
• Collaborate with design and social media teams to ensure brand consistency

Marketing Intern Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Must be a winter sports enthusiast and know how to ski or snowboard - you will be on the hill gathering content
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
