Logistics Coordinator will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to meet our customers’ needs. They will work closely will Shipping & Receiving to ensure timely support for our factory and our customers. The Logistics Coordinator will utilize their communication and organizational skills to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective logistic service is provided.
What you will need:
3-5 years Supply Chain / Logistics experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or Logistics related field a plus
Knowledge and understanding of Logistic and Transport systems and concepts desirable
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Essential function:
Coordinate shipping and receiving
Assist with international suppliers and customers to meet their needs when needed
Oversee material movement and related transactions as required
Analyze logistic structures
Negotiate freight rates for the most favorable costs and terms
Provide necessary support to shipping/receiving supervisor to maintain a safe work environment.
Review freight bills for payment and work with freight companies to resolve discrepancies.
Answering emails and providing quality customer service
Update all parties concerned on any issues that may arise
Perform data entry in ERP system
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
