Salary Range: $70,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
Total Compensation Value: $90,000 – $140,000 (includes benefits and additional perks)
About the Opportunity
A nationally recognized, multi-disciplinary design firm headquartered in Atlanta is seeking a Landscape Architect / Land Planner to join its Atlanta studio.
This firm integrates architecture, interior design, land planning, and landscape architecture to deliver award-winning projects across senior living, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, higher-education, and civic markets.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and diverse design team committed to improving the human experience through thoughtful planning, inspired outdoor spaces, and sustainable environments.
Position Summary
The Landscape Architect | Staff Level role will support the design and production of site plans, amenity layouts, grading plans, and landscape/hardscape designs for a variety of project types.
The ideal candidate is both creative and technically skilled , with strong design sensibility and proficiency in producing construction documents and renderings.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare site layout plans, grading plans, and amenity designs.
Develop landscape and hardscape designs , including site furnishing layouts and outdoor environments.
Contribute to master planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, irrigation specialists, and other consultants.
Assist with construction administration, including review of submittals and site visits.
Collect data for site analysis, zoning review, GIS mapping, and regulatory research.
Contribute to project renderings , both hand-drawn and digital.
Effectively manage deadlines, project budgets, and task coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (required).
5+ years of relevant design experience.
Strong graphic skills with both hand-drawing and digital tools.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, LandFX, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp.
Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
Actively working toward Landscape Architecture licensure (if not already licensed).
Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and consultants.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive project involvement.
