**The opportunity** Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring part-time Baristas to join our team at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. As a Food Service Cashier, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and product in an efficient manner. **Pay** $17.00 - $19.00 / hour Information on our comprehensive benefits package can be found at . **What we offer** We care about our team member's personal and professional well-being. All team members receive benefits including: + Weekly pay + Employee assistance program + Training and development opportunities + Employee discounts + Flexible work schedules **What will you do?** + Greet guests approaching the stand and provide details to guests on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniques + Provide detailed information about coffee and barista-style beverages available for purchase. + Prepare a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews) according to standard recipes and guest preferences. + Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages served. + Monitor equipment and supplies to maintain smooth beverage preparation throughout service + Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages + Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment + Properly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owed + Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests **More about you** + Ability to provide excellent guest service + Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory + Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders + No experience or diploma required **Physical requirements** + Ability to lift at least 30 lbs + Ability to stand for the entire length of shift **Shift details** Days Evenings M-F Weekends **Who we are** Patina 250 offers fresh, thoughtful, flavor-infused variations of the authentic tastes of Western New York.
