Job Description

As the HVAC Install Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving the success of the installation department, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the HVAC installation team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly production goals.
  • Train new and existing staff on installation best practices, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Monitor and manage department gross margins, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct weekly install and communication meetings to align the team and address any issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the department, including identifying opportunities for add-on sales.
  • Oversee equipment staging and ensure all materials are prepared for upcoming jobs.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by responding promptly to customer concerns and ensuring quality installations.
  • Review installation job photos daily, provide feedback, and address any issues on-site as needed.
  • Process warranty items and manage the return of unneeded parts on a weekly basis.
  • Order and manage inventory for the install department, including daily stock evaluation and price checks.
  • Supervise truck stock and equipment, ensuring proper replenishment and organization.
  • Hold installers accountable for timely job starts and provide guidance during standby periods.
  • Uphold and model company core values, policies, and safety programs at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the warehouse, vehicles, and tools.
  • Coordinate annual maintenance for install vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Support other managers during absences and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Allen County HVAC Supervisory License
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a respectful and positive manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
