Maximum Services Inc. is looking to fill the role of heavy equipment mechanic apprentice.

Responsibilities:

Candidate performs diagnosis, service, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations & specifications under supervision of equipment manager.
Ensures that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Performs equipment & vehicle repairs, service, and maintenance as required in shop or in field locations year round.
Repairs heavy equipment & vehicles, removing/replacing components.
Uses diagnostic procedures and test equipment to identify and correct faults.
Performs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & electronic diagnoses.
Display a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Analytical problem solver with attention to detail.
Maintain basic knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy equipment & vehicles.
Assist to ensure fleet appearance is maintained to company standards.
Operates shop equipment including cranes, welders, compressors, presses, grinders, heavy hand tools, & tire servicing equipment.
Lifts, moves &/or installs heavy parts and assemblies safely, using basic tools & PPE.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year prior experience as a mechanic or trade schooling.
High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Valid Drivers License.
Expected Range- $28 - $35 per hour DOE, 50% paid health insurance, optical, dental, paid vacation, 401K.
