Job Title: Front Office Medical Assistant Workplace Type: On-site Location: Burbank, CA 91505 Schedule: 3 days per week, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00/hour Job Description We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to support an urgent care facility. This hybrid role includes both front and back office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in patient triage, EMR documentation, and front desk operations. Key Responsibilities: + Check-in and check-out patients + Take and record vitals + Log patient information into EMR/EHR systems (preferably NexGen) + Verify insurance coverage + Support front desk operations as needed Required Skills & Experience + 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant + Experience in both back office and front office roles + Proficiency with NexGen or similar EMR systems + Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient care Preferred Qualifications + Bilingual in Spanish + Experience in urgent care settings + Familiarity with appointment scheduling and electronic health records + Experience in nursing clinical or ambulatory care Work Environment + Fast-paced urgent care facility + Collaborative team environment + Evening shifts (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) + 3 days per week Compliance Requirements + Drug Test: Required + BG Check: Required Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
