Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable , skilled Door & Hardware Installer/ Service Technician to join our team. This role involves tearing out, installing, and repairing commercial doors, frames, and hardware both in the field and in our shop. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Tear out, install, and repair commercial doors, frames, and hardware
Pre-install commercial door hardware in the shop prior to delivery
Use hand tools, drills, and screw guns safely and effectively
Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and templates accurately
Keep tools, truck, and warehouse organized; complete light paperwork
Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards
Lift, move, and handle materials as needed
Requirements:
Experience with door and hardware installation preferred
Strong hand tool and power tool skills (drill, screw gun, etc.)
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude with good problem-solving skills
Ability to read and follow instructions and templates
Must be able to lift materials as required for installations
