Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing complex interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, care processes, and post-intervention care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards in nursing practice.
- Participate in staff training and continuous professional development programs.
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
Essential Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina or compact state.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a nursing role, preferably in a complex care setting.
- Experience with patient education and advocacy.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant healthcare technology.
