Tulare, CA | Full-Time (Starting at 31 Hours/Week)

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)at TES Therapy , every day brings meaningful work and variety. Your mornings might begin at a local school, where you help students improve fine motor skills, self-regulation, and access to learning tools. In the afternoon, you could be in the home of a toddler, guiding parents through playful routines that build sensory and developmental skills. Whether you're on a school campus or on the floor during an early intervention session, you're part of a collaborative team helping children meet milestones and thrive.

We’re looking for a full-time COTA to join our team in Tulare, CA , with services also provided in nearby cities and towns. This position begins at 31 hours per week , with the possibility of increasing as your caseload grows.

 

💼 Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA
$33 - $41.30/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 What you will do:

• Deliver therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support children from infancy through high school with developmental, sensory, and motor needs
• Document and track progress, contributing to IEPs and IFSPs
• Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt strategies to meet diverse needs across settings

Minimum Requirements:

• Current COTA License in California
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (min. 25/50k liability coverage)
• TB test within the last 6 months
• Clearance of background checks (FBI and DOJ)

• Environments may vary (classrooms, play spaces, living rooms)
• Interaction with a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs
• Moderate physical activity and variable noise levels
